Cadets paraded for the first time at Eastleigh Park, Portslade following the closure of the afternoon parade at Hove Town Hall. The unit partook the Hove parade for decades and were sad to see it come to an end.
However, the community of Portslade welcomed the Squadron, as we all took part in a march to the memorial for the first time in recent years.
The atmosphere was charged with emotion and passion, yet welcoming to all. Numbers present exceeded expectation and the ceremony was a pleasant change, one which will be embraced by the unit in the years to come.
