Aviation Studies
As cadets undertake training, they progress through ‘classifications’, attaining recognition in the form of a badge to distinguish their achievements. With each classification pass, new doors will open, from participating in expeditions to flying and even gliding solo at 16.

By the time they complete this list of classifications a cadet will find themselves instructing the less experienced cadets in the material they previously learnt, regaling them with their stories and experiences. The examination passes also count towards achieving a BTEC Diploma in Aviation studies.
The syllabus spectrum includes; historical topics, map reading and navigation as well as how aircraft fly and even engine propulsion and satellite communications.
